On occasion I am asked to become involved in campaigning work supporting causes and people I admire, trust and hope to support in their ambitions.
In 2019 I was introduced to Mayor of Greater Manchester, Andy Burnham. He was seeking re-election in 2020. As a passionate supporter of Andy’s work for and on behalf of the people of Manchester I was delighted to contribute to his campaign and commissioned a series of portraits by Amanda Searle. “Manchester Faces” captured not only Andy but a group of Mancunians who directly reflected the wonderfully wide and diverse spirit and community of this wonderful City.
