ABOUT IAIN

People and their stories are where I begin. Stories about the people themselves or stories they want to tell.

We live amidst panic. Are AI and tech taking over the world? Of course change will happen however I remain optimistic that human emotions and the magic we can weave as a result of being in possession of these will continue to keep life joyful, interesting and compelling – certainly for a few years yet.

My fear is that we are losing the ability to celebrate the moment we inhabit and to generate genuine intrigue around life’s occasions.

My driving force is to take the time to build and then share stories that give special times and events the ability to LIVE and more importantly SURVIVE in our memories. To create much needed nostalgia for the future because what is a life without memories?

Along with a team of creative colleagues, each expert in their chosen field, our aim is to move with the times but to use the best of the past, blend these to perfection and create a recipe that will communicate messages for our clients that then make impact in all the right places.

Spotlighting Talent

Comedy was my first career stop after years spent in the world of Fashion – first as a model and later as a journalist, stylist and art director.

It was an unexpected jump but one which landed welcomely and opened to me the world of live entertainment, television and film.

Early years as a press officer at Edinburgh’s Gilded Balloon Theatre allowed me to support comedy legends amongst them Jo Brand, Mark Thomas, Mark Steel, Steve Coogan, Roger McGough and John Thomson.

My next step was to work with leading talent agent Vivienne Clore supporting her clients, a wide range of comedians and presenters. I devised promotional campaigns for Festival runs, national tours and TV series for a number of names at the top of their game – Greg Proops, Scott Capurro, Mel & Sue, Tommy Tiernan, Ed Byrne, Milton Jones, Rory Bremner and a young Johnny Vegas with whom I worked from 1997 when we found ourselves nominated for The Perrier Award at his Edinburgh debut! These were the Rock n Roll years for comedy! These are but a few of the many people I have worked with.

Collaborating with and supporting talent has become one of my true passions. I currently work with actors Christopher Eccleston, Angela Griffin, James Baxter, Glynis Barber, Pooky Quesnel and Leslie Ash across a wide range of projects. Working closely with other creatives and exploring best ways forward is always interesting and the changing shape of the media means we need to open our minds to all manner of new platforms and ways of capturing attention.
