A drama set in Scotland and exploring restorative justice – a bit of no brainer for me to take on when approached by STV Productions. The Victim, a series created by writer and showrunner Rob Williams took me back to my homeland and gave me the chance to work with the cream of Scottish talent including Kelly MacDonald, John Hannah and James Harkness.
Once again, a project that allowed me to explore and engage with expert voices, in this case from the legal profession. A project that made a huge impact across the media and became one of the BBC’s highest rated dramas of 2019.
