Just as filming on Sky Drama series Temple began the world went into lockdown. It was a challenging time as new systems were put in place to enable production to begin. Thanks to the phenomenal efforts of Liza Marshall of Hera Pictures, Temple became the first high end drama to commence filming. It was brilliant to work with Daniel Mays again and also with Mark Strong and Rhys Ifans. The gift here was we were able to make our story stand apart precisely because Temple sat centre stage as a drama that gave TV hope again.
It also provided me with huge challenges which I am proud to say I worked around creating an online forum where cast and journalists could meet and a series of short films which walked guests through the production process and the extraordinary underground set. As a result we hosted one of the first and most successful virtual set visits which was attended by over 50 journalists from around the world in March 2021. The series secured blanket coverage across all media platforms.
